Patrick Mascaux is an architect by training (La Cambre - Brussels - Belgium).
After his studies, he stays for several years in Mexico City as an architect. Then back to Europ,
in collaboration with the sculptor and videographer Christine Wilmès, he devotes himself exclusively to image and photography.

Under the name of ''Wilmes & Mascaux'', the duo W&M is moving towards the study of sites characterized by the notion of abandonment,
deserted and survival in Mexico, USA, Australia, South East Asia and Europe (www.patrickmascaux.com + www.wilmesmascaux.com).

Random short stories about the end of the worlds and the stargazing ...

The work has been presented in museums, galleries, contemporary art fairs and festivals in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Canada, Australia & USA.

Patrick Mascaux est architecte de formation (La Cambre - Bruxelles - Belgique).
Après ses études, il séjourne plusieurs années à Mexico comme architecte. Ensuite, de retour en Europe,
en collaboration avec la sculpteur(e) et vidéaste Christine Wilmès, il se consacre exclusivement à l'image et à la photographie.

Sous l’appellation ''Wilmes & Mascaux'', le duo W&M s'oriente vers l'étude de sites caractérisés par la notion d'abandon, de déserté et de survivance

Patrick Mascaux es arquitecto de formacion (La Cambre - Bruselas - Belgica).
Despues de sus estudios estuvo varios años en Mexico como arquitecto. Luego de regreso en Europa,
en colaboracion con la escultora y videasta Christine Wilmès, se dedico exclusivamente a la imagen y la fotografia.

Bajo el nombre ''Wilmes & Mascaux'', el duo W&M se dedico al estudio de sitios caracterizados por la nocion de abandono, de desierto y de
superviviencia en Mexico, en Estados-Unidos, en Australia, en el sudeste asiatico y en Europa (www.patrickmascaux.com + www.wilmesmascaux.com).

Cuentos cortos aleatorios sobre el fin de los mundos y la contemplacion de las estrellas ...

El trabajo fue presentado en museos, galerias, ferias de arte contemporaneo y festivales en Belgica, Luxemburgo, Francia, Canada, Australia y USA.
